Pastor Jamal Harrison Bryant
Pastor, author, entrepreneur
Pastor Bryant is the Senior Pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Dekalb County, Ga. He hosts an international radio show as well as a national TV show, has written several books and been the voice for many audiobooks. Pastor Bryant is also owner of Total Life Change, a nutritional products company.
Bishop T.D. Jakes
Bishop, author, filmmaker
Bishop Jakes is the main pastor of The Pottor's House of Dallas Tx, a non-denominational church. He has used The Potter's House as a foundation to publish his many books, broadcast radio shows and TV shows and produce many films. He has received many honors, including a Grammy Award, Dove Award nominations, listing in the Top 10 Religious Leaders for multiple listings and the NAACP's President's Award.
Roland Martin
Journalist, editor, commentator, author
Ronald was a writer for many online and written publications, eventually becoming the executive editor for the Chicago Defender. He then went on to host a radio talk show, be a CNN contributor and even have a few shows of his own. He won two NAACP Image Awards for his work on TV and various recognitions such as Ebony Magazine's 150 Most Influential African Americans in the US and Journalist of the Year. He stopped work on TV and has since been focusing his work on his radio show and YouTube show, as well as his various writings.
Candace Owens
Commentator, political activist
Candace is the communications director of Turning Point USA. She started her career at Vogue Magazine and has since been involved with many conservative political movements, even heavily pushing the movement known as Blexit. This movement seeks to change the Black Democratic voters way of thinking so that they become more conservative and eventually become Republican voters.
Morgan Freeman
Actor, director, narrator
Morgan began his acting career in the 1970s, with his first appearance on a children's program called The Electric Company. He would go on to have a long career that continues and has expanded into directing and narrating due to his distinctively deep voice. He has won many awards from a variety of sources, including The Academy Awards, The Golden Globe Awards and The Screen Actors Guild. Morgan routinely donates monetarily to both environmental disasters and political causes of the Democratic Party, as well as providing acting and voice-over assistance when asked.
Wes Moore
TV producer, Politician, investment banker, author, retired Army
Wes is the governor-elect of Maryland, becoming the first African American governor of Maryland and third overall African American governor in the US. Following several years in the US Army as a paratrooper, Wes became a fellow under Condoleezza Rice in the State Dept. He then went on to become an investment banker in New York. He started his own TV production company where he successfully produced several shows. He has authored 5 books and worked with multiple charitable organizations.
Dave Chappelle
Comedian, actor, producer
Dave began his career as a standup comedian, doing shows like The Apollo Theater and the Boston Comedy Club. He made his film break as "Ahchoo" in Mel Brooks' movie Robin Hood: Men in Tights. He went on to star in many movies, sit-coms and weekly shows. He has won many awards for his works, including Grammy Awards, Emmy Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Larry Elder
Commentator, talk show host, former lawyer, author
Larry began his career as a lawyer working with a local firm. He eventually founded and ran his own firm until 1995. In 1988, he began working with PBS on a program called Fabric, designed to discuss various topics. Between that time and 2005 he was host of various TV talk shows. He hosted various radio shows from 1994-2022. He wrote op-eds for local newspapers from the late 1980s until 2012. He ran for California Governor in 2021.
Sheryl Underwood
Comedian, actress, TV Show Host
After graduating from college, Sheryl served two years in the Air Force Reserves before she began her career as a comedian. After gaining her initial public notice as the first female finalist on the Miller Lite Comedian Search in 1989, she won numerous awards for her comedy. She then began acting and finally began producing, contributing and hosting a variety of radio and talk shows before taking her current role as co-host of The Talk
Stacey Dash
Actress, commentator, political activist, author
Stacey was born in New York City and graduated Paramus High School in 1985. Her first notable TV appearance was on The Cosby Show that same year. She has since been involved with numerous TV shows, movies and music videos. She expanded her career into the political arena when she accepted a job as commentator for Fox News in 2014. She briefly entered politics as an active candidate for California's 44th Congressional district, but has since reserved her politics to interviews and blog writing. She wrote an autobiography in 2016.
Byron Allen
Producer, businessman, philanthropist, comedian
Byron started his comedian routine at local Los Angelas comedy clubs at the age of 14. After being seen by Jimmie Walker, he began writing comedy alongside young talent Jay Leno and David Letterman. Shortly after his TV debut at the age of 18, he had his own show, which ran a total of 21 seasons. In 2018 he founded Entertainment Studios and later acquired The Weather Channel and Fox Sports Networks. He has won several awards for his business efforts.
Steve Harvey
Producer, TV host, actor, comedian, author
Steve began his comedic career in the 1980s and eventually hosted Showtime at the Apollo and his own self-titled show, The Steve Harvey Show. He has hosted many TV shows since 2010, but is perhaps most well known for Family Feud. in 2017 he founded Steve Harvey Global and East 21, his entertainment and production compainies. He later founded the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, a non-profit focused on youth education. He has won 7 daytime Emmy awards, 2 Marconi awards and 14 NAACP Image awards. He has written four books, with one on the best seller list.
Denzel Washington
Actor, director, producer
Denzel did not begin his acting career until he assisted with a summer camp while taking some time away from Fordham University. Here, he disccovered his love for acting. He went on to study at the American Conservatory Theater before beginning his professional acting career. Despite making his first film the year after graduation, he remained working in theater and off-Broadway productions for another five years before his first major break on the show St. Elsewhere. He went on to star in, produce and direct many films, has won Tony awards and several Academy Awards.
